What is a Retrofit Window? (And Why It Saves You Money)
Unlike "New Construction" windows that require hacking away at your exterior stucco, siding, or interior drywall to reach the hidden structural nails, Retrofit Windows are custom-built to fit directly inside your existing window frame.

- Zero Wall Damage: The glass and inner tracking of your old window are safely removed, but the original outer metal frame stays embedded in the wall. This means your original waterproof flashing and structural seals remain 100% intact.
- The Flush Finish: The new vinyl window sets clean into the opening, and its built-in exterior "stucco fin" overlaps your exterior wall perfectly. It is sealed tightly with commercial-grade, flexible polyurethane caulk to create a permanently weather-tight barrier against wind, dust, and rain.
- Interior Insulation: On the inside, I completely insulate the perimeter gaps to kill drafts and install clean trim molding to hide the old aluminum edges completely.
Retrofit Window Labor Rates
To keep my pricing completely transparent, I charge flat-rate labor fees based on the square footage size of each individual window.
⚠️ Please Note: I have a $300.00 minimum project fee for all window installations. If your total window labor does not reach $300 (such as a single small or medium window), the flat-rate invoice for the job will be $300.
For multi-window projects or jobs meeting the minimum, my standard tiered rates apply:

- $150.00 Labor – Small windows up to 2' x 2' (maximum 4 sq. ft.)
- $200.00 Labor – Medium windows up to 3' x 5' (maximum 15 sq. ft.)
- $300.00 Labor – Large windows up to 5' x 7' (maximum 35 sq. ft.)

I break down my labor services to the bare minimum so you can save money by handling logistics yourself, or add on only what you need:

- On-Site Measuring & Evaluation: $250.00 flat rate to professionally measure your property openings (covers up to 5 windows). It is just +$10.00 extra per window after the 5th opening.
- Store Pick-Up & Delivery: $100.00 for the first window, plus +$20.00 for each additional window frame transported to your site.
- Old Window Disposal: $20.00 haul-away fee per window unit.
