A Good Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
If you are taking pictures to send them over to receive an estimate, you will need to send good pictures.
Stand as far back as possible, literally. Then use the zoom out function on your camera and take the first picture. Now you can start taking pictures closer to the project.
Example: You need your window replaced because the glass is broken. I have literally received pictures of just the broken glass. You want to send pictures of the entire window showing all corners of the frame, the trim around the window, the walls holding the window in place and also the surrounding area. Send pictures standing outside facing the window, and also pictures standing inside, facing the window.
